    Open all year. Steamboat Lake State Park is across the road. 8 cabins with cooking facilities, completely furnished. 12 private bunk house rooms sleep 2-4 with private baths. Rent by the day or week. Country store, restaurant/bar, gifts, sporting goods, licenses, gasoline, LPG. Kids welcome. Pets and guest horses OK separate corrals available ($) in some cabins. New group facility.

    Summer: Horseback rides, wilderness pack trips and ATV tours. Excellent trout fishing.

    ATV's are a great way to see the area and are fun for the entire family. SLO uses old mining roads on tours up and around historic Hahns Peak and in the Routt National Forest. Scenic tours are led by a guide, with an ideal size being no more than 4-6 machines.

    Our horses are gentle and are suited for beginner to experienced riders. Native mountain horses, they are sure-footed and allow for a western experience of scenic mountain views, meadows of wildflowers and wildlife. Horseback tours are guided and specialize in scenic rides with personalized attention. An ideal group size is no more than 4-6 horses.

    Pack Trips: Picture yourself with an experienced guide riding native mountain horses, followed by a pack string along the trail on a unique wilderness adventure. Make camp near a crystal clear stream or an isolated mountain lake. Satisfy your appetite with great meals cooked over an open fire. Afterwards, sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet under the beautiful starlit sky.

    Fall: Guided deer and elk hunting, outfitter license #773. SLO is a year round, full time, professional hunting and outfitting organization, specializing in fully guided hunts, or drop camps. hunts. We can tailor a trip for your hunting pleasure.

    Winter: Unguided snowmobile rental available with cabin rental. Bring your own sled and snowmobile from your cabin into the Routt National Forest, with over 150 miles of groomed trails - you can access thousands of acres of play areas filled with champagne powder. If you are more interested in a quiet outdoor activity, Steamboat Lake State Park has groomed cross-country and snowshoe trails - all within 2 miles just waiting for you.

    SLO Grill: is a full restaurant available inside the store. Serving anything from bacon and eggs to BBQ ribs and steak, we can satisfy an appetite after a busy day playing or a quiet day of relaxation.
